It's Been a While
I have been here just haven't done much posting either here or on my scrap blog. I am not fully recovered from my illness earlier this year. But I have come a long way. Today I got my license renewed so I warn you now.....Stay off the sidewalks. LOL!!!
I just recently discovered Harry Potter Movies. I know....everyone on earth besides me has seen them...but I am in the middle of the series. After I see the movies I plan on reading the book series. As with most book to screen stories the book will have much more detail.
My newest grandchild was born 2 weeks ago today. She has a full head of dark brown curly hair like her daddy. I think she is gorgeous!! Today was her 2 week weigh in and she now weighs over her birth weight....she's 7# and 5 ozs.

End of School
Jeff is out of school now. He will have his graduation ceremony on the 31st. We are having an open house party for him on the 30Th. Then he will be going to Arizona with his grandfather for 3 weeks. Tyler gets out of school on Friday but he is only in Pre-K so he has a long way to go.
Wendy is feeling pretty good for being 8 mos pg. She's getting big too. We had a baby shower for her on Saturday. It was fun but it sure wore me out. My strength is coming back but some days it seems like it will take forever.
I'm working on a new scrap kit and also June desktops and calendars so check back to see if I am done yet.

Thursday
Went to the kidney doctor today. He is happy with my blood work. Kidney function is good, hemoglobin is up so no shot, and all the rest within normal range. Good. I feel pretty good too. The PT gal gave me a workout on Wednesday so I am worn out today. LOL!! The price you pay for getting better.
The Lakers are playing now. They look tired and lack any spark. Looks like the series will go 7. At least they will be back home in LA for the last game. Hopefully they will win. But they need to rest up. They will be playing the Nuggets and they are hot right now.
Mikey is sick right now. He has a temp and the poor little guy is hot as a furnace. Wen is giving him some Tylenol and putting him to bed. Hopefully he will feel better tomorrow. It's so hard when they are little like he is. Tyler seems OK now but he had a very bad ear infection last week.
OK well I am going to get back to watching the game since half time is almost over. More later. Stay safe and be happy!

Catching Up
I have been working hard on getting myself moving. I started walking by myself last weekend. I am like Mikey with little balance and even less stamina. I saw Dr Jenny and she said I looked good for a dead person. She was reading my file from the hospital and it wasn't good. She said my lungs were clear and I sounded good. We made a deal that if I get sick I get one round of antibiotics...then into the hospital for IV infusion if that doesn't work. She doesn't want me to get sick like that again either.
I closed my old list and have made a new one. I will be doing stats and so on also, not just tags. I have a lot of ppl who have joined. And I also am getting back into making tags for Awesome.
Time for bed so I'll close for now.

Lakers win the Game
I just have to jump in here and say Yeah!! Lakers won the first round of the play offs. Next up will be either the Houston Rockets or the Portland Trailblazers. Houston is ahead 3-1 in their playoff so it could be them if they win tomorrow. Both are good teams so I am not going to pick either one to win. The Lakers will have to play well to get past either of them.
Time for bed now. I am getting stronger every day but 6 weeks in the hospital takes a toll. I never realized how bad pneumonia is. I have had it before but this time was really hard. I am walking with a walker now but I am getting my balance back so I can walk across a room with no help. It's only been a few weeks that I have been home so I have to be patient I guess and keep working on getting stronger.
Night for now.
