On another vacation

in the hospital. I have a gland under my ear that has gone berserk and swelled up like a golf ball. The pain is better today but the swelling is still pretty big and hard as a rock. I will be out of here in a few days.

While here I am going to make a tag for my list and work on my next scrap kit! Talk to you all soon!

Happy New Year

I know.....I am a bit late with the New Year Wishes but I have an excuse. I was in the hospital. It seems like this will be a semi annual event being sick and in the hospital. My kidney can only handle so much then it starts to shut down. When that happens my blood chemistry gets off and causes all kinds of other problems. To compound this while I was in the hospital I slipped getting into bed and fell. It really messed my knee up and it took a few days before I could even walk on it. I was there for 8 days so I spent New Years Eve asleep in my little hospital room. No worries tho...It's not like I'd be out partying anyway. I would have been asleep just in my own little bed.

I am home now and I am in PT to get the knee working better. I feel good and and stating to get my spark back.

It is so cold here today all I want to do is stay in hibernation like all the bears in our woods. It's noon now and the temp is -4......yes that's 4 below zero.

The rest of the family is fine. Tyler is going in for another bone marrow biopsy next week but we don't expect any major changes. Mikey is doing well in Head Start. Mallory is growing so fast now. She is starting to talk now and says a number of words.

Time to update

Tyler is doing well. His numbers are stable, We pray daily that everything stays the same and so far so good.

Mikey is in Head Start now and he is learning fast! He's so cute. I'll get some pics posted soon.

Mallory is RUNNING everywhere. 16 months old and she is a total chatterbox!! And she could not be cuter.

Me?? Well I am doing OK. I have broken my ankle for a second time this year but it seems to be healing. I have a headache problem that me and Doc are working on. It is getting better tho so fingers crossed.

Everyone else is fine. We are all getting ready for the up coming holidays. Thanksgiving was awesome. Wendy made some really yummy food and we all stuffed ourselves!!

Where did October go??

Wow that was fast. Seems like it was just the beginning of October and now it's November.....well in a few hours it will be. My ankle healed just fine so no problems there. The kids are growing so fast and getting so big!! Tyler won 1st place in the costume parade today. Hope you all had a Happy Halloween!!! I just posted 2 new calendars on my other blog. And now I am off to bed. I have a football game and a NASCAR race to watch tomorrow!! Night All!!

Latest Rundown!!

I got a cold and since the first round of antibiotics at home didn't help Dr put me in the hospital. The IV's helped a lot!! Cleared me right up and now I can breath again.
So I get home from the hospital.....I walk up the 3 little steps.....put my foot down on the porch....twist my ankle and guess what???? I broke it! What else....jeez. Just call me Grace. Anyway I have a walking cast boot thing on now and man does my ankle hurt. Thanks god for good pain meds. It will heal in a few months but what a nuisance!!!

It's Been a While

I have been here just haven't done much posting either here or on my scrap blog. I am not fully recovered from my illness earlier this year. But I have come a long way. Today I got my license renewed so I warn you now.....Stay off the sidewalks. LOL!!!

I just recently discovered Harry Potter Movies. I know....everyone on earth besides me has seen them...but I am in the middle of the series. After I see the movies I plan on reading the book series. As with most book to screen stories the book will have much more detail.

My newest grandchild was born 2 weeks ago today. She has a full head of dark brown curly hair like her daddy. I think she is gorgeous!! Today was her 2 week weigh in and she now weighs over her birth weight....she's 7# and 5 ozs.
